On the 13th and 14th of February 2017, Argentinian Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (Non-resident), H.E.  Ana C. Pisano, had the honnor of attending the inauguration of the Argyle International Airport.

Several Government officials from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as other CARICOM naions, foreign dignataries, and members of the Diplomatic Corps acrerdited in Kingstown, were present at the event.

During the ceremony, the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves made special mention of the important role that Argentina played in succesfully extracting and classifying archeological artefacts left by the Indigenious peoples , which were found during the construction of the Argyle Airport.
